Notes

I got the idea for this vid around the time I finished my first vid, about ten months ago. Basically, I wanted to tell William's story and the moment he definitively becomes a young man.

On my first attempt to vid this, some six months ago, I found myself intimidated by the instrumental music. I instinctively tend to vid to the lyrics, which can be a strength, but it also has limited me a number of times. It wasn't until I had the pleasure of betaing [personal profile] ladymajavader's Powrót that I saw how an instrumental piece could be used to its full potential. Powrót served as an invaluable inspiration and creative tool for me during the process of completing this vid.

Wonderful! I love seeing this movie vidded, and by concentrating on William's story you captured a different thread than most people would focus on. The music is fantastic, perfect for the film—it's not from the soundtrack, is it? It totally fits. Great job.
